Critically analyze a patient's history, physical examination and laboratory data 

Establish a differential diagnosis 

Learn a therapeutic regimen, which is most appropriate 

Gain knowledge of newer therapeutic diagnostic tools and agents 

Acquire useable information, which will be helpful in managing his/her

patients
