Neurological disorders are some of the most complex and confounding disorders that affect the pediatric population. Often the symptoms are first seen by the Primary Care Provider (PCP) but not always recognized as a neurological disorder/ disease until it has progressed. The Children’s Neuroscience Symposium is an accredited program designed to enhance the practitioner’s knowledge of common pediatric neurological disorders including presenting signs and symptoms, recommendations for specialist consultation and recent treatment advances.

This symposium features our own nationally prominent faculty along with guest speakers, presenting topics that highlight the most recent advances and current issues in pediatric neurosciences. This course is broken up in to 4 afternoon sessions, each dedicated to a specific area in the field of pediatric neuroscience:

• Spasticity/ Movement Disorders
• Concussions-Evaluation and Management
• Raising Special Kids/Behavioral Pediatrics
• Seizures and Epilepsy
