Since beginning its National Pancake Day celebration in 2006, IHOP has raised nearly $10 million to support charities in the communities in which it operates. Last year, valley IHOPs raised over $65,000 for the patients and families at Phoenix Children's Hospital.  On February 5, 2013, guests from around the country are invited to celebrate National Pancake Day at IHOP and enjoy a free short stack of Buttermilk pancakes.  In return for the free pancakes, guests are asked to consider leaving a donation for Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

IHOP's goal this year is to raise $3 million for all Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
