The Barrow Neurological Institute at Phoenix Children’s Advisory Board aims to advocate, fundraise, and act as ambassadors for the Institute throughout greater Phoenix, the state of Arizona, and beyond. Through the Board’s leadership, the Institute will continue its forward momentum as one of the premiere Centers of Excellence at Phoenix Children’s.
Barrow at Phoenix Children’s is the largest pediatric neuroscience center in the Southwest, offering the most comprehensive inpatient and neurological care and services to infants, children and teens with neurological, behavioral and mental health diseases and disorders. Phoenix Children’s neuroscience division is consistently ranked as a top children’s specialty by U.S. News and World Report, as well as a top treatment center for epilepsy (Level 4 National Association of Epilepsy Centers accreditation), neurotrauma, neuro-critical care, neuro-oncology and neuro rehabilitation.
Through a multidisciplinary approach to care, including collaborations with other divisions within Phoenix Children’s and partnerships with local, national, and international research groups, the Institute has improved patient outcomes by utilizing state-of-the-art treatment techniques, evidence-based medicine, and participation in groundbreaking research activities to advance care.
