Big Dig For Kids
Join Big Dig For Kids as we come together, from a distance, to support Phoenix Children's.
Big Dig For Kids is a one-of-a-kind fundraising event that promotes healing for Arizona's children while also sparking curiosity and wonder for the construction community. On November 6, 2021, Big Dig For Kids will give local children, including those with cancer, the opportunity to explore, interact and operate heavy machinery, including scissor lifts, and more.
Although we have made the tough decision to not host Big Dig For Kids in 2020, kids continue to be diagnosed with cancer, families are facing hardships at a much greater level and personal protective equipment continues to be in high demand. Kids can't wait and that's why we are asking you to join us in supporting Phoenix Children's through Ignite Hope!
The Phoenix Children's annual Ignite Hope event is virtual this year. You can show your support by joining the team, fundraising and displaying candles or luminaria at your home, in honor of patients and families battling illness and injury during the holidays, a difficult time for a child to be hospitalized.
We are fundraising for the more than 60 programs and services at Phoenix Children's that are supported strictly through donations. Your contributions benefit the Hope Fund, a source of critical funding for the areas of greatest need at Phoenix Children's as well as programs such as Animal-Assisted Therapy, 1 Darn Cool School, The Emily Center, Language Services, Pastoral Care, Music Therapy and more. But no matter which program or service it supports, every contribution to Phoenix Children's Hospital has a direct impact on young patients and their families.
